The RadMap system yields MARSSIM oriented data.
RadMap eliminates the need for field gridding of survey area, manual recording of data and tedious data entry.
When used with dual-channel meter and detector allows for the simultaneous recording of both alpha and beta count rates.
Availability
The RadMap System is available for rent or for sale. See our Equipment page or contact us for more information.
RadMap System
System Overview
The RadMap Survey System is an ultrasonic based indoor survey system that is both rented and sold by ERG. The RadMap System comes in one configuration, Single-detector Handheld. It is easily transported in a provided Pelican case and sets up in approximately 5 minutes. This system is oriented towards smaller areas of approximately 10m x 10m but larger areas may be surveyed by resetting the transmitter configuration (leapfrogging). An easy to use application, RadMapPlot, allows the operator to display data.

Simply set up the ultrasound transmitters in a corner of the wall to be surveyed. The position of the detector will be tracked and displayed in real time on the PDA. The alpha and beta counts and the associated coordinate will be logged to a file every two seconds. Use the provided software to display the data.
