• PDA datalogger displays and records each radiological measurement and associated X, Y, Z coordinates accurate to +/- two inches.

• RadMap eliminates the need for field gridding of survey area, manual recording of data and tedious data entry.
• When used with dual-channel meter and detector allows for the simultaneous recording of both alpha and beta count rates.
• RadMap data collected in .csv format can be imported into GIS, CAD, Surfer or RadPlot Excel add-in to create 2-D or 3- D radiation survey maps. Data can also be overlaid onto digital pictures.

RadMap System

The RadMap Survey System is an ultrasonic based indoor survey system that is both rented and sold by ERG. A handout with information on the system is downloadable here (492 Kb). The RadMap System comes in one configuration, Single-detector Handheld. It is easily transported in a provided Pelican case and sets up in approximately 5 minutes. This system is oriented towards smaller areas of approximately 10m x 10m but larger areas may be surveyd by resetting the transmitter configuration (leapfrogging). An easy to use Excel add-in, RadPlot, allows the operator to display data.
